Description
Explore a range of game meats, how to process and cook them from fur to plate.
You’ll get to look at processing:
- Small Game
- Deer
- Poultry
- Fish
and how to prepare and store them for food.
You will also look at and get involved in a variety of skill sets around game including:
- Tanning
- Smoking
- Butchery
- Cordage
- Tallow
The course begins at 11am on Thursday where we will hit the ground running. We finish on Sunday at 2pm.
All meals will be provided but bring your own snacks and treats or extra nibbles.
A course equipment checklist will be sent to you after booking.
